Introduction to Animation Class

Students aged 6-8 years

   

Beginning June 4, 2005 , ASIFA Colorado will be holding an introduction to animation class for children aged 6 through 8 years.  The program will last for 4 consecutive Saturdays from 9AM to 11:30AM each Saturday.  During these classes students will learn about the principles of animation and look at various animation techniques such as cut-out, clay and hand-drawn.  This class is for beginner animators, the advanced animator is welcome but will proceed on his/her own study. Students will be able to keep any animation tests and drawings they create

The program will be held at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Lakewood , Colorado in the Animation Lab.  A cost of $100 per student will be required to cover materials.  Space is limited and we will be taking students on a first come first serve basis.

ASIFA Colorado was established in 2001 as a non-profit organization devoted to cultivating and promoting the art, craft and profession of animation. ASIFA-Colorado is a regional chapter of the international organization, Association Internationale du Film d'Animation (ASIFA).

ASIFA Colorado member discounts are available as are discounts for multiple enrollments.
