Our guest is Lindsey Chastain, Creative Director & Head of Post Production at Powerhouse Animation Studio, who will share insights into their creative journey, career milestones, and what it takes to thrive in the world of broadcast animation.
Attendees will also have the chance to participate in a live Q&A session—ask your questions, gain insider knowledge, and connect more deeply with the craft and business of animation.
Lindsey Chastain is a Creative Director at Powerhouse Animation with over a decade of experience in directing, post-production, and compositing for animation, games, and commercial content. She primarily directs projects within the studio’s Boutique department.
Her credits span a variety of genres, including work for Netflix, SEGA, Riot Games, and Airship Syndicate, with projects such as Blood of Zeus, Masters of the Universe, Castlevania, and cinematic content for titles including Sonic Dream Team, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, and Wayfinder.
In addition to her studio work, Lindsey has served as an adjunct professor at Austin Community College for over a decade, where she teaches motion graphics and supports the next generation of animation talent.
Based in Austin for more than 20 years, Lindsey lives with her husband, stepson, and their super opinionated dog, Murphy. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, making questionable Fantasy Football bets, and enthusiastically starting (and abandoning) new hobbies.
